A native of New Mexico, Rob Plutt was born and raised surrounded by Native American culture on the fringes of the Navajo reservation.
Rob's paintings are inspired by his Southwestern roots and his love for Native American culture, history and artwork. Growing up, Rob was inspired by many artist including Frank Howell, J.D. Challenger and the great R.C. Gorman.
He relocated to the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado, where he has lived now for over twenty years. He continues to find his inspiration in the beauty and history of the western culture which surrounds him.
He is humble in his painting and is a student of the Native American culture. He hopes that through his paintings, he can help keep alive the truly beautiful Native American story and culture.
